Quite a nice pipe!

Upon opening my new BC Calabash 2000, I was struck by the workmanship of this pipe. The body of the pipe is a gorgeous dark brown buffed to a high sheen, paired to a faux ivory stem holder. The size of the pipe chamber is very large with a tapered opening starting at the top of .9 inch to the bottom (2 inches deep) at .7 inch. This pipe holds a lot of tobacco. This is something I like to know and rarely see on most websites; frankly, is the pipe large or small? It seems obvious.
The pipe smokes quite well, although with a large quantity of moist tobacco you might experience some level of gurgling at times, although it is rare.
If I was to say I was in any way unhappy with this pipe, it would have to a very minor criticism in the size of the hole drilled from the stem to the chamber. It is a bit too large, and you can accidentally suck a few pieces of tobacco on first light up. I recommend a good scraping and then blow out once before filling the pipe. This seems to cure this problem.
