It burned, a tear came out of my eye, my heart started pounding. I loved it! My new favorite American Snuff. Very fine grind, pure tobacco taste. It does not taste like BBQ like my former favorite (W.E. Garrett). Rooster has a much stronger nic hit in my opinion.

The pure tobacco taste is good but it is hard to take. I like irish high toast #22 much better for a pure tobacco taste.

the best american snuff i have had. scotch grind, very rich and chocolate, black coffee like. very good flavor, and real good nic, one of the best, if not the top for the nic! a runner, very runny on the nose. i even use it to up the nic content of other snuffs or add a bit to my tin to loosen up the other snuff in my nose. like a pinch to a 10g tin of gletchers will keep it from clogging your nose, without changing flavor, etc. i always have a tin on hand. good stuff, from the makers of copenhagen, i wouldnt expect less... it is a dark runner also, so use dark tissues, lol

Rooster has become my favorite American snuff. It has good nicotine content and a good aroma and flavor. Care must be taken when snuffing, too hard and it will be in the back of your throat. It is not as bad in this regard as other American snuffs, however. It's become another staple in my snuff humidor.
