Missouri Meerschaum Corncob- Country Gentleman

This, by far has been my favorite cob, with a nice generously sized bowl. The distinctive style, coupled with a custom acrylic stem that I added, is a definite head turner. I always get compliments with this one. I've heard reports of the bowl getting too hot, but I've never experienced this myself. I usually fill it with va or va/per and is always a satisfying smoke. Mars Cigars is THE best place to pick these up, great selection and service. I bought one for my uncle (a pipe smoker for over 65 years) as a birthday present and he loves it as well!

The tall generous bowl allows for a nice long smoke. The picture is somewhat misleading, mine came a good deal taller than shown, which was fine. With the addition of a danish bit you will have a nice looking pipe that smokes as good as it looks. It's a 45 minute or better smoker with an easy draw, so you don't have to keep puffing to keep it lit. Just relax and enjoy this gret pipe.

I bought two Country Gentleman cobs and enjoy the large bowls very much. It's a good idea to order 2 or 3 extra bits. Although the stylish Danish bits are not listed for this pipe, they fit very well in mine, and are slightly longer than the standard ones. They cost the same 50 cents. The pipes come without the hardwood plug at the bottom of the chamber. I have both the straight and bent stemmed country gentleman and smoke them quite a bit with my favorite burley blends. They're a great choice when you are looking for a 30-45 minute smoke. Cobs smoke dry and cool and will last for years if properly cared for. You sure can't beat the price, either! 5 stars

I like to smoke a General now and then, and the Patriots are well made too, if funny shaped. But this is the cob I smoke most often, by far. The Country Gentleman is the perfect size, lasts longer than most cobs, and Mars Cigars has the fairest price on them around. Buy more than one!
