Our Great Dane Corn Cob Pipe now features your choice of either of two bowl shapes – the familiar Spool and the NEW Spindle. Both shapes are designed to fit comfortably in the hand. Each pipe holds plenty of tobacco for a long, relaxing smoke. The Spool is a filtered pipe while the Spindle is not. Both pipes have a genuine, hardwood insert in the bottom of the bowl. These also are available in our Great Dane Gift Set.

I have both the bent and straight eggs, and the bent spool and have found them to be very fine pipes. Not ones to take fishing, but more an affordable treasure. One of my eggs with a nice burley is my after dinner tradition. Just be sure and get a stand if you choose the egg, pointy bottom, you know. As a final note, I found on all three of my Great Danes that the eggs have a larger bowl inside thhan the spool. When I get a bent spool mabye it'll prove me wrong. I my experience a larger bowl and a slower draw makes for a cooler smoke, and who doesn't enjoy that?
