Excellent Latakia blend in its own right but one of many now available

I have numerous old tins of BSOSM and 759 from my college days. The new version of BSOSM is an excellent Balkan blend. If you are lucky enough to get a tin of this product, which I was, it is thoroughly enjoyable and nostalgic trip. The unavailability of this product amazes me. Back in the day, way back, the campus bookstore at Colgate University always had shelves stocked with BSOSM and 759. The two other big sellers were Revelation (the science/physics majors wanted Einstein's favorite) and a tobacco I haven't seen in years called Blue Boar. The shelves were always stocked. It is hard to believe now a days but professors and students would smoke pipes in the classrooms and lecture halls. The new version of BSOSM is very close to how I remember it but the Hearth and Home version of BSOSM called White Knight in my opinion just about nails it and is readily available. Another excellent option is a tin of Charing Cross.
